"Live!" was the first live album that Status Quo released commercially. The original 1977 release was recorded over three nights between October 27 and 29, 1976 in the Rolling Stones' mobile studio.
Originally released as an exclusive, quickly sold-out colored vinyl release for Record Store Day 2025, "Live In Glasgow" was the first complete release of the 1976 tour. Due to popular demand from fans, Demon Records is pleased to announce the reissue on black vinyl one year later.
The sound was mixed and mastered by Andy Gamble at AVP Productions using newly discovered multi-track recordings (one of which was in a box labeled "Peters and Lee!") from the original ¼-inch master tapes and approved by Francis Rossi.
"Live!" is considered one of the classic live albums of the 70s and one of Quo's most memorable live sets. This only complete recording of a setlist from the same tour shows the band at their loud and furious peak, with the entire original 1970s line-up in full force.
