Michael Jackson's landmark 1991 album "Dangerous" marked his triumphant return to the top. Originally titled "Decade," Jackson ultimately chose "Dangerous"—a bold statement that proved prescient. Produced independently without Quincy Jones, the album shattered expectations with 30 million copies sold worldwide and nine of its 14 tracks reaching the US top 10.
The commercial momentum was unprecedented: "Dangerous" achieved 10 million sales within just two months of release, outpacing both "Bad" and "Thriller," which each required over four months to hit the same milestone. Jackson had reclaimed his position as the world's biggest superstar.
This exclusive USA pressing captures the album on dark red vinyl, a limited edition collectible that honors one of pop music's most consequential releases.
