Our Condition Grading Guide
Every product we list is graded using the industry-standard Goldmine scale so you always know exactly what you’re getting.
- ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mint (M): Absolutely perfect. Brand new, usually sealed with no surface scratches, skips, or sound degradation.
- ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Near Mint (NM): The highest grade for an opened or second-hand item. Looks glossy with no obvious signs of wear or handling.
- ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very Good Plus (VG+): Superficial signs of use (faint scuffs or very light scratches) that do not compromise the listening experience. Sleeve may show minor ring wear or a corner bend.
- ⭐⭐⭐ Very Good (VG): Well-loved and obviously used. Noticeable wear present, including light surface noise during quiet passages, but no skips. Sleeves may have visible writing, tape, or seam splits.
- ⭐⭐ Good (G) / Good Plus (G+): Significant wear resulting in loud clicks, pops, and surface noise, but the record plays through without skipping. Sleeves are heavily worn with major splits or ring wear.
